It's a pulse.

12k travellers love Cool Monaco

We are locals, sailors, chefs and night owls showing you the real Principality.
We make the smallest country feel huge.
CoolMonaco.com started as a notebook of a harbour kid who grew up counting masts in La Condamine. Today it's the most human guide to Monaco: where princes, mechanics, croupiers and DJs share the same 2 km². No clichés. No paid fluff. Only streets we walked, plates we tasted, sunrises we didn't sleep through.
From the Rock of Monaco-Ville to the mirrored towers of Monte-Carlo, from the fish market to Jimmy'z at 4am — we cover heritage, gastronomy, sailing, F1, art, wellness and smart luxury. How to live Monaco coolly, even on a day trip from Nice.
Written in Monaco, not scraped. Updated weekly for 2025-2026 season.
€3 socca vs €380 tasting menu — we tell you when both are worth it.
Port, paddock, kitchens, rooftops: 40+ partners who open doors.
Walk, e-bike, solar bus + reef care in Larvotto marine reserve.
François Blanc turns Monte-Carlo into Europe's playground.
16 Bugattis roar through the streets. The myth is born.
A blog, a Vespa and a harbour pass. Rest is history.
New beach, new museums, new chefs. Best time to come.

How many days do I need in Monaco?
One intense day covers icons, two days lets you add beach + museum, three days = perfect slow Riviera rhythm with Èze and Menton side trips.
Is Monaco expensive?
It can be, but smart choices help: bakeries, market, free viewpoints, public beaches, €2 buses. Luxury is optional, views are free.

Late May each year on city streets. Expect crowds, road closures and sky-high prices — and an atmosphere like nowhere else.
How to get from Nice Airport?
Train from Nice-Ville (25 min), direct bus, taxi/Uber (35-45 min) or helicopter from Nice Airport (7 min) to Fontvieille heliport plus shuttle.
Where to swim?
Larvotto (redeveloped, restaurants, reserve), Le Meridien Beach Plaza (private chic), and just over the border: Roquebrune and Menton.
